Prof. Nie Meisheng

Prof. Nie had worked in China South-West Civil Engineering Design Institute for 18 years. From 1984 to 1986, she was sent to Rensselear Polytechnic Institute as the National Exchange Researcher. In 1991, she was pointed as the Deputy General Director of the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Construction and the PHD supervisor. In 1994. Prof. Nie was appointed as the General Director of the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Construction of China and as a member of the Science and Technology Commission of the Ministry of Construction. In 1998, she was elected as the Chairman of Housing Industrialization Office of the Ministry of Construction and the Deputy Chairman of the Science and Technology Commission of the Ministry of Construction. From 1996, she was authorized as the Director of Water Industry Association with the China Civil Engineering Society under the Ministry of Construction of China.

Mark Ebbinghaus

Mark Ebbinghaus is an Executive Director in UBS's investment banking division. Mr Ebbinghaus is a real estate specialist with approximately 25 years experience in the industry and approximately 9 years of service at UBS in both the Equities and Investment Banking divisions. He has been a former advisor to a number of both high profile and substantial real estate investors in Australia and prior to investment banking has been a No 1 rated research analyst covering real estate, developers & contractors, and the hotel sector.
Prior to joining UBS in 1997, Mr Ebbinghaus spent five years at JLW Advisory (a former division of Jones Lang LaSalle) where he was Head of Strategic Investment Advice for their Australian business. In this role Mr Ebbinghaus was responsible for asset allocation, strategic investment and divestment advice and asset management for a number of leading direct real estate investors and pension plans. He holds an Economics undergraduate degree (accounting and finance major) from the University of Adelaide and a Masters degree (real estate and finance major) from the University of South Australia. He holds post-graduate qualifications from the Financial Services Institute of Australia and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Mark is a fellow of FINSIA, is a full member of both AIMR and the Australian Property Institute. He also holds a Real Estate Agents and Business Licence as well as being a former registered valuer in the state of NSW.

Dr. Youguo Liang

Dr. Youguo Liang is the Managing Director of Investment Research and a member of the Investment Committee and Management Committee of Prudential Real Estate Investors. He earned his Ph.D. in finance from the University of Kentucky and M.A. in management and B.S. in operations research from the University of Science and Technology of China. Dr. Liang is a CFA charter holder, the President of the American Real Estate Society and international editor of Real Estate Finance.
Prior to joining Prudential, Dr. Liang was a Senior Vice President at Lend Lease Real Estate Investments and Head of Research at the Yarmouth Group, Inc. He also served as a faculty member of the Finance Department at Cleveland State University and taught real estate and investment related courses at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels.
Dr. Liang has published more than 80 research manuscripts in both academic and industry journals. He has authored papers for academic journals such as Real Estate Economics, The Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, The Journal of Real Estate Research, The Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management and The Journal of Financial Research. In addition to academic publications, he regularly writes articles and commentaries for influential industry newsletters and journals such as The Institutional Real Estate Letter, Real Estate Finance and Pension Real Estate Quarterly. Many of Liang’s research publications have won awards and been abstracted in The CFA Digest and PREA Research Review. In the past Dr. Liang served as managing editor of The Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management and special issue editor of The Journal of Real Estate Research. Thomas W. Pulley

Thomas Pulley is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse First Boston and is responsible for overseeing all of RECP's Asian investment activities. He is based in Tokyo.
Mr. Pulley began his career at Bankers Trust where he founded the CMBS group. Mr. Pulley was a member of Bankers Trust's Real Estate Equity Investment Committee and Management Committee. Mr. Pulley's experience in Asia and Europe includes his position as Head of Asian Principal Finance for UBS, based in Tokyo, and Head of Distressed Debt for Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, based in London. Mr. Pulley has successfully invested in distressed debt and real estate assets located in Germany, Eastern Europe, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Japan, and China.

Mr. Lentz joined Fidelity in 2002 and has served as a real estate investment trust (REIT) analyst. He began managing Fidelity International Real Estate Fund in January 2006.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Mr. Lentz was a research analyst following REITs for Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York from 1999 to 2002. William G. Tung

William G. Tung has directed all of the Rockefeller Group's activities in Asia Pacific as its Managing Director since 2003, including branded mixed-use developments in China and the formation of a Greater China Fund with the company's partner Sinolink Worldwide Holdings Limited.
As Chairman of Shanghai Bund de Rockefeller Group Master Development Co. Ltd., Mr. Tung heads the master development of the historic Waitanyuan project on the Bund in Shanghai, a 16-hectare mixed-use development on the banks of the Huangpu and Suzhou Rivers. The project is slated by Shanghai's municipal government as a world-class centerpiece to help celebrate the 2010 EXPO in Shanghai. The master development company is a joint venture between The Rockefeller Group/Sinolink and New Huangpu Group, a privatized government company in Shanghai that was&n bsp;designated by the People's Republic of China to participate in the project.
Before joining The Rockefeller Group, Mr. Tung was a Vice President for 10 years with Bertelsmann, the global media conglomerate, directing all its corporate real estate activities and ownership interests. Prior to Bertelsmann, Mr. Tung was an Executive Vice President and Partner with Broadway State Partners, a major property development company in the New York region, involved in all aspects of property development and valued at over US $2 billion. Earlier in his career, Tung practiced as a licensed architect with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill ;and managed projects worldwide.

Tan Ser Ping

Mark Jared

Mark Jared is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing the liaison work for the company's development projects in China. He has over 18 years of real estate experience, all of which have been with either Portman or a Portman affiliate. In 2001, while representing Portman in Shanghai, he participated in a significant feasibility study for the Taiwan High Speed Rail. Prior to joining Portman Holdings full time, he was concurrently the deputy general manager and the director of marketing for Shanghai Centre, in charge of operations and revenues. From 1986 to 1990 he was the development manager for Portman Overseas during the construction of Shanghai Centre.
Mark has studied in Hong Kong and Taiwan and speaks Mandarin Chinese fluently. He is an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce. In 2002 Mark became one of the few foreigners to be appointed as a special foreign advisor to the Huangpu District Government.

Francis Lee Wee-Hau

Francis Lee Wee-Hau is the Senior Director of Development, Greater China, for Hilton International. Based in Shanghai, he is responsible for the expansion of the portfolio of properties under the Hilton brands in the region.
Prior to joining Hilton, Francis was a corporate finance lawyer with significant transactional experience in Sydney and Singapore. Dr Lim has some 35 years of extensive experience in property business involved in valuation, property management, training and consultancy. He is a licensed appraiser and currently the President (Valuation & General Practice Division) of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV), President of the Association of Property & Facility Managers (APFM) and Chairman of the Accreditation Board, Singapore Accredited Estate Agencies (SAEA). Dr Lim has been a consultant to a few UN agencies, and is currently Chairman of the World Association of Valuation Organizations (WAVO) and Secretary General of the Asean Valuers Association (AVA). Dr Lim is a Justice of the Peace.

Stephen Fung holds a public and professional duty as the Honorary Secretary of the Hong Kong Institue of Real Estate. His academic qualifications are Fellow of Chartered Institute of Housing, England (FCIH), DMS (HK Polytechnic University/HKMA) and Fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Real Estate (FHKIRE). He was also a Registered Real Estate Broker of Toronto Real Estate Board, Toronto, Canada between 1990-1994.
Stephen’s 36-year work experience has been enhanced from Hong Kong Government, Hong Kong Land, China Light & Power, Shui On Group, Century 21 Landstars, Colliers Jardine, FPD Savills, CITIC Pacific, China Resources, etc. Commercial Properties under my pioneer management/operation in China, consist of Teem Plaza, Guangzhou, Jin Mao Building (Pudong, Shanghai), CITIC Square (SH), the Mixc & CRC Building (Shenzhen) and ZGC Shopping Mall (BJ. Currently he works as an Associate Director of TCBL Consulting Limited. His major job portfolio includes Zhongguancun Shopping Mall daily operation management as Senior Operation Director of Beijing Science Park Development Co., Ltd. and consultancy services for other built and would-be built projects all over China. |

Gordon Fairclough

Gordon Fairclough is a senior staff reporter for The Wall Street Journal, based in Shanghai, China.
Mr. Fairclough joined Dow Jones & Company in 1994 in Bangkok, Thailand, as a correspondent for the Company's Far Eastern Economic Review, Asia's premiere business magazine. He began working for The Wall Street Journal in 1997 as a staff reporter, covering various subjects, including the tobacco industry.
He joined the Seoul bureau of The Wall Street Journal in 2003, and covered Korean economic and political affairs as well as regional security issues and the North Korean nuclear crisis. He moved to Shanghai in February 2006.
Before coming to Dow Jones, Mr. Fairclough worked for the Hartford (Connecticut) Courant and the Associated Press.
Born in New Haven, Connecticut, Mr. Fairclough graduated cum laude from Yale University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He earned his master's degree from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies, where he received the Christian A. Herter Prize for Outstanding Scholarship. In addition, Mr. Fairclough was a Luce Scholar.

As the Managing Director and Co-Founder of ChinaCRE Inc., David brings many years' experience in information technology and investment management. David held senior-level positions in leading academic, IT and investment institutions including the University of California, Sun Microsystems, Intel, eNet and Bank of America.
David has a Ph.D. and Masters in Management Science from Stanford University. Besides a professorship at the Guanghua Management School of Peking University, he serves as a Vice Director of the E-Government Institute at Shanghai Jiaotong University.
